The truck has a serial number of 281, with a cab number of 294. The final production date is 12/04/1940, which makes it a 1941 and probably one of the oldest surviving M - 5's, or maybe even the oldest? It was titled as a 1946, which means it was probably sold in 1946. I purchased the truck in November 1995, and it was titled in WV. on 12/15/1995.
As you can see, there is a large inventory of NOS and quality replacement parts that will be sold with body and frame as a package only. There is one more box of parts that I have yet to locate, that are not listed, but will go with the sale if located. The buyer will have their choice of one NOS grille mldg. and two NOS headlight bezels. Three crates of California parts were purchased on Ebay and shipped to WV. Save time searching for the needed parts, and use it to restore this historic vehicle.
I began to disassemble the truck, but have not had the time to complete the project.
The price including the body, frame, NOS, NORS, good used stock and the Cathcart rebuilt engine (Never installed) is $11,000.00.
